I'm the neat-freak type — clutter genuinely bothers me. For years we had one closet that held everything extra: cleaning supplies, stuff for the cats and dogs, outdoor gear out of season, tools, all of it. I'd clean it out and reorganize it twice a year, like clockwork.
Then last year, for the first time, we emptied the whole thing out at once. Even we were shocked at how much had piled up — and we're the family that stays on top of this stuff.
